How to prevent polyurethane （PU） products from turning yellow? Update date：2017-08-04

(1)Use polyether polyol(PPG) with low unsaturation and high activity instead of polyether polyol(POP) to produce polyurethane products can effectively prevent polyol's double bond from oxidation, thereby resisiting to yellowing.

(2)Use fatty diisocyanate to replace with aromatic diisocyanate.

(3)In order to slow down the pace of polyurethane leather being light aging and improve the light fastness of synthetic leather products, adding light stabilizer when produce polyurethane leather is necessary.

(4)Add a certain amount of thermal oxidative stabilizer.

(5)Nanoparticles, with the quantum size effect, will cause blue-shifted phenomenon when it absorbing a certain wave length. And it shows wide phenomenon when absorbing different wave length. Therefore, employing nano materials as stabilizer to produce a composite of polyurethane and nanometer can improve the ability of non-yellowing.
