Application

Antioxidant 1098 is an excellent antioxidantfor polyamide fibers, molded articles and films. It can be added prior topolymerization, to protect polymer color properties during manufacturing,shipping or thermal fixation. During the last stages of polymerization or bydry blending on nylon chips, fiber can be protected by incorporatingAntioxidant 1098 in the polymer melt.

Handling and storing

Theuse of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to theproduct should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product ina cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unlessstated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 24 months from thedate of manufacturing.
